Avery Letkemann

Avery Letkemann is trial lawyer at JPL Litigation with experience advocating for clients in both the British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court. Her practice encompasses a broad range of civil litigation matters, where she brings a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and a practical, client-focused approach.

While completing her law degree at the University of Victoria, Avery distinguished herself through extensive hands-on legal training. She completed a co-op term with the British Columbia Attorney General’s Civil Forfeiture Litigation Team, where she routinely appeared before the BC Supreme Court and gained early, substantive exposure to complex litigation files.

Avery also worked with the Law Centre, a community legal clinic serving low-income individuals. In that role, she successfully negotiated favourable outcomes for clients, conducted a civil trial, and secured an acquittal in a criminal matter through effective advocacy and negotiation.
